Wedding Photography Questionnaire

Please use this form to tell me as much about your day as you can. Every wedding is completely unique so hopefully you can use this to let me know where people will be, and when, and what is happening on your special day! The more I know about the day in advance the better!

I want your wedding photos to be flawless and beautiful. I will be unobtrusive and ready to capture your special moments as they happen Here are some suggestions:

Don’t rush your first kiss!  At least 5 seconds of kissing should be enough to make sure that myself and any videographers who you hire have a chance to capture the moment properly!

Allow 50% more time for your hair and makeup than you originally anticipated on the big day. This will ensure you have plenty of time for everything else and that if you over run – you’re not late!

To shoot a private “bride and groom” portrait session, I will need at least 15-30 minutes of your time alone at any point during the day. Please also allow 15-30 minutes after your ceremony for group photos, should you be wanting them.

If possible, please pre-assign a member of the wedding party, family member or friend who knows the people to be in the pictures to round them up for the photos. Getting people where they need to be for the photos is by far the most time-consuming part of group shots.

Please, make sure the cutting of the cake and/or any other parts of the evening to be captured occur within the booked time.

Don’t be afraid to smile and talk to each other when you are being photographed. Don’t feel that you constantly have to stare at the camera, I want you to create memories - not awkward photos!

Please allow enough time if you would like bridal portraits at prep (photos with bridemaids, parents, first look etc).

If your wedding is in a church, sometimes there are rules regarding photography - please ask!

No worries if not, I understand this is not always possible - we can bring our own packs!

Please provide address(es) if NO

Please note that rounding people up can take a lot more time than expected. It would be helpful to have a dedicated person who knows everyones names to gather up people as needed!
